Join Our Weekly Photography Competition on Bluesky!
Our world famous weekly weather and landscape photo competition is back!
We're pleased to announce the launch of our new weekly weather and landscape photography competition on Bluesky! Starting next Monday (25th November 2024), we'll pin a post to start the competition. Photographers from all over Bluesky can join in by adding their photos to the thread, along with a brief description and the location of the image. Don't forget to use the hashtags #StormHour and #POTW.

The competition will run until Friday noon (UK time) and will be judged that afternoon, and the winners will have their images featured on the StormHour website.

We'll also showcase the best of the rest, so there's plenty of opportunity for recognition and exposure.
Some weeks we will have a theme, but to start it can be any weather and landscape photo you've ever taken!
We used to run this competition on Twitter, but managing it became challenging due to an ever increasing number of spam entries and plagiarism. Bluesky, with its strong community feel, offers a more engaging and supportive environment for photographers. We're hopeful this will encourage more meaningful connections and interactions among our followers. Just like the old days!
