Question 1. What was your most memorable weather event?

My most memorable weather event was the tornado that ripped through the back yard of our cookout on May 30, 2004 in Plainfield, Indiana. At the time, I was terrified of storms, but the experience is what got me interested in meteorology, and I'll never forget it!

Question 2. What is your favorite and least favorite type of weather?

My favorite type of weather is severe weather, but I also love snow! My least favorite type of weather is when it is extremely hot and humid.

Question 3. If you weren't a meteorologist, what would you most like to be?

It's really odd, but I've always through realty would be fun! I also love home renovating and interior designing.

Question 4. From a purely meteorological point of view, where would you most like to live?

I wouldn't leave Indiana! Here, we experience ALL seasons. We get severe weather, snow, hot summers, and cold winters. I would never want to live where weather is persistent year-round, being a meteorologist!

Question 5. What has been your favorite storm chase?

On May 20, 2017, a beautiful tornado touched down about 300 feet from me in a field in northern Indiana. While it wasn't large or violent (thankfully!) it was such a beautiful sight to see!
